Jackalope Brewing Acquired by Investment Firm Tacoma and Hoyt

Nashville’s Jackalope Brewing Co. has been acquired by Tennessee-based investment firm Tacoma and Hoyt LLC. Founded in 2011, Jackalope is a well-known player in the Nashville craft beer scene. The acquisition is aimed at supporting the brewery’s growth and expanding its reach across the Southeast.
Bailey Spaulding, co-founder of Jackalope and one of the first female craft brewery founders in the country, will remain in her role as chief beer officer, focusing on creating new beers and maintaining the brewery’s innovative spirit. Steve Wright, who has been with the company since 2010, will transition from president to chief revenue officer, overseeing sales and regional expansion.
Steve Barone, CEO of Tacoma and Hoyt, will take on the role of CEO at Jackalope. Under this new leadership, the brewery plans to continue its community-focused approach while expanding operations and distribution.
Jackalope Brewing, known for its creative beers and commitment to sustainability, became the first Nashville craft brewery to can its beer in 2013. With this acquisition, the brewery is poised for further growth while maintaining its core values.
