Southern Grist Brewing Co: New Juicy DIPA Release
Southern Grist Brewing Co. is launching its latest evolution in the “juicy” series of New England-style double IPA. The beer is double dry-hopped with the massive Nectaron hop, unleashing tropical nectar, ripe peach and citrus flavors “that practically burst out of the glass.” The brewery invites patrons to both its taprooms starting today to sample this next level juicy chapter.
What makes this release notable: Southern Grist has built a reputation in Nashville for pushing boundaries, experimenting with fruit-forward sours, hazy IPAs and bold adjuncts. Their taprooms — at 754 Douglas Ave (East Nashville) and 5012 Centennial Blvd (The Nations) — showcase that experimental spirit. Southern Grist Brewing Co+1
The release is available on tap starting today in both locations, so craft beer enthusiasts and BrewPass users should plan a visit. Arriving early is recommended since hazy/juicy Double IPAs with special hops tend to move fast. Sharing a flight with friends, capturing tasting notes (peach, tropical nectar, citrus) and then picking up a to-go four-pack (if available) would be ideal.
